Janneth Santos R. (Fabiola)

I joined the Mycological Herbarium as a curatorial assitant in 2006 after completing my undergraduate work at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and serving as a research assistant in fungal ecology at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. I am in charge of develping the Herbarium's special collections, including our teaching collection, as well as providing the interface between molecular biology and our specimen collection. I also assist with projects focusing on cellulolytic enzyme production by endophytes, and ethnobotanical studies of plants. You can also find me at the Mycological Herbarium.
